Just got back from a trip down south… Did a little doodling along the way…
Spring break starts tomorrow!
Faber-Castell 4 PITT artist pens sepia
Was in DC earlier this month for a work conference. Despite the windy cold and snowflakes, I found comfort with my pens and paints whenever I got antsy.
Also got this goofy souvenir…
It’s good to keep sketching fast, whenever I get a glimpse of inspiration, to just draw rapidamente, faster than I can think of what’s wrong. It’s good to act despite my fears, to just do without attaching judgments.
Just got back from a quickie across the ocean.
Stayed up on the northwest tip of Kamehameha’s island.
Had a nice room with a patio view of a lush hillside.
Got to spend some time at the beach.
Went to see some touristy historical sites.
Took a hike through a lava-locked pikupa forest.
Checked out the Kohala coast.
Watched Venus rise over palms.
Had to come home much too soon.
Took my son to his piano lesson this afternoon. Since it was raining outside, I sat inside with my back to the piano and drew his teacher’s studio.
More work stuff…
Sketching in the new Smart car while waiting for my son to get out of school…
More San Francisco scenery…
Still drained from Tuesday’s election…
